In the current day and age, streaming services are taking over all over media for TV shows and movies. This is simply due to the convenience it provides. Available on virtually every device, users can watch almost any piece of cinema at the click of a button.

For avid film fanatics, it’s hard to find good enjoyable content to watch. Although streaming services have a recommended section for their users, it is loosely based on the content they have watched in the past. Online reviews may aid in their research in deciding where they should give a show or movie a chance, but are subjective and from strangers.

Create a platform for film fanatics where they can connect with their friends leading to better personalized recommendations from people they know.

Having a Dark Mode product made it tricky to introduce other colors for buttons/CTA's other than red/black/grey

How to make Cinema Stand out - Experimentation with various different types of features. Ultimately landed on Articles & Trivia, & combining it with a social aspect. By adding a competitive aspect, as well as some gamification I was able to capture information feature of IMDB and put Cinemania's own twist to it.
